If you need to retain students to the current grade level, you have to manually update the student in the SIS. This is important to do before running report cards if the students next year grade needs to show as the current grade level.
1. Locate the student>class info>classes>edit
2. Click "NEXT YEAR"
3. Change grade and homeroom and click SAVE
4. Click "SAVE"
